Pros

1. Great team of caring staff 2. Good benefits 3. Making a difference in other people's lives

Cons

1. Staff turnover 2. Understaffed programs; staff are overworked and burnt out 3. Too top heavy 4. Executive Management cares more about hiring PhDs rather than making sure there's enough employees to provide direct support and care to the individuals.

Pros

The staff that work in the programs, the ones that directly interact with the individuals served, have a tremendous job and do it well! Many of the support departments provide actual support to the programs

Cons

The "C-suite" is disconnected from the reality that is the work that is done by the staff in the programs. Decisions are made on a whim and change at breakneck speed, without consulting the people who those decisions affect. There is a serious lack of professionalism from those who are touted to be the "leaders" of the agency, belittling people, sizing people up, gossiping, and judging - none of those are qualities of a good leader
