Pros

With a new leadership team in place for a while now, things are positive and getting better all the time. Keep up the good work.

Cons

Long hours, but that is not unusual at a nonprofit. Great co-workers here.

The students/clients are great kids.

Cons

-the chief executives have little to no experience with individuals with autism -the APA internship program is lacking in quality -diversity council exists despite the agency providing layoffs of employees from diverse cultural backgrounds -disjointed communication between and among departments -budget concerns override clinical/service concerns -numerous colleagues discussed lack of staff coverage for students -few opportunities for professional development -annual reviews not tied to promotion or pay increase -quality of services have changed dramatically during the last decade
