Pros

- Flexible schedule - Company-paid benefits - 401k Match - Culture is alive even while remote - Passionate about promoting from within along with career development - Unlimited PTO with encouragement from leadership to actually take the time off - Tons of transparency with financials/state of the company - Questions from employees get addressed company-wide

Cons

- No complaints so far, the company is very open to feedback and making adjustments if needed.

Pros

At May, you're not restricted to work on the area of robotics that matches your experience - you could come in with a strength in perception but get to solve controls problems if you express interest. Unlimited vacation, and optional WFH (if your role permits)

Cons

Engineering management is still trying to learn how to reorganize and maintain the connectedness and effectiveness of the small team as they grow to become a big engineering team.

Pros

May Mobility used to have good social events, like team sports, game nights, and lightning talks.

Cons

The product is very flimsy and hacky. The engineers don't test their features, so the test team gets buggy and non-functional versions. They just rush out a rough first draft and hope for the best. When we complain, we are told that we are the problem. The vision engineers in particular are very arrogant and get angry when you tell them that their code doesn't work. It's impossible to get them to fix it. This attitude goes all the way to the top. The CEO thinks he knows everything and will argue with anyone about anything. It's best to keep a low profile and stay out of the way. This company will crumble very soon.
