Pros

McCarthy has lots of benefits, and the pay is great if you are in Renewable Energy. Also the atmosphere is a little less corporate than other companies this size.

Cons

You're going to need the company-provided mental health services with the amount of hours you are pressured to work as an exempt employee in operations. Your company-provided therapist might suggest you quit; oh, the irony...

Decent Company with Toxic Leadership

Pros

- ESOP - Fun coworkers (mostly)

Cons

- Extremely toxic inner circle. HR is a complete joke. Leadership plays favorites. You can be a hard worker but if you're not liked by the right people, you will never move up. Everyone knows about the inner circle, and once you're in it, you're absolutely untouchable no matter what you do. - Sexual harassment is pretty rampant here but nothing happens. It gets swept under the rug. - Lack of accountability - Underpaid. The company leans too heavily on the ESOP as an excuse to underpay workers. - Recently, the company has been making bad business decisions. I worry the future of the company is not as bright and promising as it once was.
