Pros
Fun culture. Pay and benefits package are superior to most admin jobs you can find in Houston without needing a degree. Bonus and stock sharing are not common anywhere else.
Cons
Not really a “Con” as much as common sense. If you’re looking for growth in an office setting, it’s not here. Overhead positions are limited as this is a construction company, and the employment demand is for construction professionals. If you want growth, you need to find a way to grow in a direction that the company has a need, not assume you’ll earn advancement for being a great admin.
