Pros

McDonald's is a traditional, mature organization that is very well run. Strong ethics and business values infuse the organization. Equally, a sane work/life balance is achievable in this organization at fairly high levels of the executive chain. Working for a global brand of McDonald's stature is always challenging and exciting. Salaries are fair, the total compensation package is very good.

Cons

Company is very mature, so getting new thinking and ideas implemented can be a significant challenge (but not impossible). There is not a free flow of ideas and many employees are still reluctant to share their perspectives. General culture is quite friendly but also quite passive-agressive and the organization does not manage conflict particularly well (especially managing up).

Pros

Working for Mcdonald's can be fun at times. The work is steady and make's the day go by fast If you plan on Taking a but load of classes, It can be rewarding. The pay is not the worst, but not as good as it should be. You get to meet all diffrent kind's of people.

Cons

Calling out sick seem's like an impossibe task, although you are really sick and cant afford to go to the doctor, Mcdonald's still expect's a doctor's excuse? In the past five years when the min-Wage went up I did not receive a pay raise. If you ever display any knowledge of any skills they'll use you to the full extent.
