      -Had some great coworkers, made work pretty decent -Great starter job, future employers like it. -Pretty easy work -Damn flexible hours -Eat lots of mcdonalds

      -Greasy if your on fries -Gets busy (time goes by however) -Eat lots of mcdonalds

      easy money when i first started working in high school, all the part-timers are my friends. but as each one left at the end of summer, the place just became blehh

      Pros

      Working with people, and dealing with the general public (sometimes customer service). Good job to have if you've never worked before. Great learning expierence.

      Cons

      As a cashier, they expect you to greet customers like you're super excited to be there and as if you are a 17 year old girl. So not very fun working there as a guy at times. The upper management is usually on the level (store manager/assistant store manager) however the shift managers are usually in their 20s or younger. When I started there I made 7.50 an hour and when I left two years later, I was making 7.70. Early on they wanted to train me to do everything in the store. This is one of the precursors to becoming a manager. I asked how much more money they'd pay me and it was 5 cents more an hour. Not worth it.
