Pros

Good product , product that customers like, and you get to sample the products. There are a lot of bad routes but there are some good ones

Cons

Before you buy a route make sure you do your homework on how much the route runs. Also ask why are there so many open routes because they dont do enough business.Ask why there are so many dsrs on routes.Your expenses will be about 200 to 300 dollars a week. gas ,storage for product and truck, they required to carry a million dollar insurance policy, you need to buy a hand held computer and printer , there are a lot of little things you have to pay for

Pros

1. Profit Sharing. That's it

Cons

1. Health insurance is the worst I have ever seen for such a large company. 2. Supervisors suck. They lie and do what they can to try to get the most out of you, while at the same time stabbing you in the back 3. No sick days. As a large scale food manufacturing company, they do not want you to come in sick, yet there are no sick days. You get a point for calling in, and you automatically get 8 hours taken out of your PTO 4. Their PTO accumulation is atrocious. You have to be there 4 years to accumulate the weekly PTO time to get 1 day PTO for 2 weeks of work 5. Pay raise never increases for years worked. If you worked there 30 years, you are still making the same money as someone that has done the same job for a year. 6. Depending on the area you work, depends on the amount of breaks you get. You could get two 30 minute breaks for 8 hours, or you could get three 30 minute breaks, or a 30 min (Because it is state mandatory) and two 15 minute breaks, or you can get a break every 40 minutes. Again, it depends on where you work, and who your supervisor is. 7. You are only guaranteed 4 days off a year. Two for Thanksgiving and two for Christmas. They are called "Paid days off", but you have to have the PTO saved up to cover them. That's right, you have to use YOUR PTO for "Paid Time Off" 8. Co-Workers are lazy, and will let you work hard if they see you will do what it takes to get the job done. 9. Nothing is ever done to implement the recommendations from yearly employee surveys. Upper management never talks to us about them, and leaves it up to the supervisor, whom we are doing the survey for. Upper management needs to meet with employees after surveys, and try to remedy any grievances that the employees may have. 10. A lot of the lines work 6 days a week almost every week 11. Terrible Work/Life balance. 12. I can not stress enough how terrible the Health Insurance is.
