Pros

The best things about my position are being able to set my own work schedule, work independently, be completely accountable for the work I do, & no interruptions by phone, email, etc.

Cons

Too little training provided in too little time; no information provided by management regarding future at McKesson; no incentive to stay, little effort at employee retention/promotion; not enough technical support staff to research & solve client questions/problems quickly & accuratel; not enough emphasis placed on customer service from management towards clients.

Pros

The benefits were good and the learning programs that they had were also helpful such as classes in Excel, etc. Although my excel skills were more advanced than the classes offered I still went for a refresher and if I learnt any new shortcuts.

Cons

There is career advancement however how it is setup it is based on your supervisors approval so regardless of your job performance if your manager manager wanted to block you from going to another team it was all in their power. So i you found a perfect fit outside of your team that you wanted to go to it was all based on if your supervisor wanted you to leave or not.

Pros

You get a great understanding of how certain products work. They transitioned into a new team set up in support where you get to actually get to meet the clients you will be supporting.

Cons

McKesson is really bad about getting recruiting information back to you on time. They recruit seasonally so if you have an offer in the Fall when you graduate in the Spring, you have to make the decision to 1) accept the job and back out or 2) take a chance and reject the offer
