Pros

- Educational Benefits and Growth Opportunities through Project Work - Competent Managers that help with Development - Opportunities to work with new Technologies

Cons

- Have heard of stories about management chains that were run poorly, but haven't had that experience personally - Use of legacy systems is a very real thing and sometimes work is centered around trying to get legacy systems to work in order to actually develop - Cafeteria food could be better

Pros

They have great salary and benefits

Cons

Seriously the most toxic and outdated place you could ever work at. They pay you to shut up and take it. If you ever make a complain to HR or senior management, they are quick to remind you about how overcompensated you are and that you should be grateful. Being part of management myself has been the most soul crushing experience.

Pros

The pay checks, the benefits. Nothing else.

Cons

The company does zero career planning with us. The future feels so vague and there's nowhere to go, no carrot on the stick, no promises of growth or promotion, or opportunity. Every single change has been relatively unwelcome unpredictable, and unreliable manner. At any moment our schedule or role could change and having gone through that so many times has given me serious work related PTSD. I have so much anxiety at this company. The pressure of trying to achieve lightning speed perfection has done so much damage to my self esteem and has raised my base line anxiety to a level that it has impacted my relationships outside of work. I'm worried about the long term effects the stress has had on me.
