The company and the decisions made are very strange. I have seen many people describe McMaster similar to the show severance. I did not understand until a few months in. Management is not transparent about certain decisions. We randomly lose a supervisor, not even the people who are under the supervisor are told in advance or once it happened. A new supervisor was put in a place with no introduction whatsoever. The metrics we have to meet seem arbitrarily defined. When management is questioned about the metrics, not much explanation is given. Seems like they pay smart people to do menial work. There are so many talented people who get looked over. Even though I exceed the metrics, I am under constant fear of what my metrics are every month.
