Pros

Healthcare is fully paid by the company, good bonus at the end of the year.

Cons

Unqualified management without domain knowledge or appropiate soft skills, outdated software practices, no work guidelines or standards across the company, low morale due to Ivy League recent grads being put into management and receiving preferential treatment (management-only outings, laptops for management/systems only, etc), no merit-based promotions.

Pros

Average salary Amazing profit sharing bonus Free health insurance, low premiums for mental health as you’ll need it. Great retirement plan

Cons

The pro’s are only so you’ll hopefully overlook everything else this company does to cause you a great deal of stress. STAY AWAY UNFAIR TREATMENT, NO ACCOUNTABILITY TOXIC CULTURE

Pros

Everybody hates their job at some point, and there are places where people hate their job a lot more for a lot less pay. The difference with McMaster is that the pay and benefits are absolutely phenomenal, and you don't do any work when you're not inside the building.

Cons

If you're in the management development program ("MT"), there is nearly no training or structure set up for you to learn or be successful at the company. It's truly every man (or woman) for themselves. Worse than that, is that you never feel any ounce of job security. In fact, you know that you'll be fired or you'll quit before they get the chance because you know it's inevitable.
