Pros

Good pay. The fellow co-workers on your level are friendly. Good work life balance.

Cons

If you're a non-management employee you are basically a nobody. Supervisors and managers who are on thin ice will lie on you and throw you under the bus to save their own skin. Your supervisor will not even acknowledge you when passing by you in the halls, getting water, or when you arrive. It's as if you're invisible....that is until it's time for another negative performance review. Performance standards are unreasonable and supervisors know this but don't care. It is simply justification for letting you go at their whim. I don't know how they can sleep at night. They couldn't pay me to come back.

Pros

Amazing benefits: profit sharing bonus into five figures for associates, PPO insurance with no out of pocket costs except for doctor visits, etc..., consistent hours.

Cons

If you are not in the management development program the odds are you aren't going further, artificial creation of an us vs. them mentality between management development folks and associate population.

Pros

Good pay and benefits. M-F, unlimited sick days, nice retirement plan, generous yearly bonus

Cons

Management id full of book smart Ivy League college grads who think they know everything, but really don't know much about real-life. They have meetings about having meetings. You are scrutinized and insulted on every review, even if your performance is good... it's never good enough... ever. People come and go on a daily basis. I feel bad for their recruiter because he has some job to do! If you're not management, you can forget ever getting promoted into management. It's won't happen.
