Pros

The pay and benefits, that is literally it

Cons

The company structure is a joke. There is no internal advancement, your managers will be a revolving door of young, ivy league grads who have never had to do the job you do. You have no say in what department you are hired into, and if you are hired into the warehouse that is where you will stay, no chance of working from home. Once you are in a department it is very hard to get moved, there is no process to apply for other departments. The receiving side of things has better hours, but the more you try to work your way there the less likely it is to happen. You will exceed expectations as they let you flounder in the same role for years on end while expecting you to smile when they push your shift times back later and later. Your HR reps will not help you in any way, nor will your managers. I had two HR reps, one who told me he didn't respect me. When I asked the other rep to address the situation nothing was done. I documented multiple issues with HR and nothing helped. Come to find out that those two HR reps were sleeping together and hadn't disclosed their relationship to their managers. Corporate HR is in another state which makes it impossible for the Aurora branch to be held accountable. Hard work is not rewarded it just becomes your expectation. Sexism runs rampant in the warehouse, male managers will always favor their male counterparts and give them opportunities over women. They love to preach work life balance but most warehouse workers are expected to work until 7pm, and don't forget mandatory unpaid lunch breaks. You will bend over backwards to maintain your quality and productivity standards but it won't save you in the end. If they have any sort of issue they will fire you. There is zero loyalty on the companies end but they expect your undying allegiance to them.
