Pros

Working at Meade Engineering has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. As an engineer at Meade Engineering, I’ve had the opportunity to work on some of the most exciting and technically challenging projects in the power and data center space. The company is deeply involved in substation and infrastructure design for large-scale data centers, and it’s been a great experience to contribute to critical systems that support high-demand facilities. The company is also forward-thinking in its adoption of technology and its investment in its employees. Flexible work schedules. Hybrid or fully remote options available. Good benefits

Cons

Project pace and timelines can be intense at times,

Pros

Fast growing company. All electronic resources are supplied with up to date equipment and software. Flexibility with hybrid workplace agreements where applicable. Employees in over 10 states so remote work is part of the companies DNA.

Cons

Hard to get to know all employees as many are remote (in different states)

Pros

MEI is a place for people who want to grow fast. The work is challenging and meaningful — you're not just pushing paper, you're solving real problems for major clients. The company is run by people who actually care and are deeply involved. The CEO sets a strong tone from the top, and you can tell there's a clear vision for where things are going. If you're the kind of person who takes ownership and wants to be part of building something big, it's a great place to be.

Cons

It’s definitely not a “coast and collect a paycheck” type of company. The pace is fast, and expectations are high. Sometimes it feels like we’re building the airplane while flying it, especially as the company scales. Some internal systems and processes are still catching up to the growth. Communication can vary by team.
