Pros

Decent salary and a newer facility

Cons

Requires you to be onsite. They are shifting to offshore programmers in India the the Philippines. Turning it into a sweat shop.

Pros

This is a tight-knit, caring, fun group of software engineers. The director is a kind-hearted person and is always recognizing our achievements and championing his team. Weekly emails have fun contests. Management cares about the engineers and their work-life balance. The parents on the team have the flexibility they need to be present for their kids and deliver quality software.

Cons

The pay is sub-par, and has not kept up with inflation. Despite the definite upsides, many might be seeking new work soon. The health insurance is also probably one of the worst I've seen, and paid parental leave is nonexistent.

Pros

My team is laid back and nice. I love working with them, we work remotely, and everyone is super sweet.

Cons

These benefits are criminally bad. There is no maternity leave available, at all. If you want continued healthcare while on leave, you either have to send them a check or let them pay themselves from it from your PTO. The STD is 60% of your salary...but caps at $600 a week is what they don't tell you. Also, salaries are grossly under market, even though the range they advertise is market value...they don't actually go that high. They cap them at the middle of the range, which I'm pretty sure is illegal.
