      Worst Hospital for Surgical Techs!

      Pros

      It is one of the few hospitals located in southern maryland. Benefits package is decent.

      Cons

      Bullying is accepted as normal behavior. No respect for Nurses or Techs. Insane and unsafe amounts of call are mandatory! More concerned about rapid turnover then patient safety and being prepared for surgical procedures! If you come here with experience, you will always be treated like a beginner.

      Employees are wonderful, they are very supportive and eager to learn.

      Work life balance is difficult to establish. Different areas are divided in how to implement change.
