Working around animals is a great moral boost

Cons

Salaried professionals only: I had to use my PTO for holidays. What a joke?! Also 401k match is poor. As a professional I'd consider other employees. Compensation is clearly reserved for doctors. Finance tech hr - all under paid.

Thank you for your feedback. MedVet appreciates feedback, both positive and negative, since hearing the voice of our employees is the best way for us to become a better employer. I’m sorry to hear that you weren’t happy with your PTO and 401k. Our PTO does include holidays, vacation and sick time as we are a 24/7 Emergency and Specialty hospital. While I realize our support services departments aren’t open 24 hours, we are here to support our Healthcare teams, even on the Holidays. This is why holidays are built into our PTO. We currently match your 401(k) contribution at 100% of the first 3%. This is new for us as we just recently increased it in 2018. However, we are always looking at ways to improve our benefit offerings. We have increased our benefit investments each year through company-paid LTD, introducing an HSA employer match, consistent cost share in medical and enhancing our EAP. MedVet does offer flexibility to our support service team members however it is dependent on your role. The support services team is here to support our Healthcare teams and often that requires them to be in the office. We are sorry you were unhappy here at MedVet but wish you the best!
