Pros

I enjoyed working with other passional folks in the field.

Cons

Understaffed and not willing to hire help, I was forced to work 6 days a week every other week as there were only 2 of us working 3 different departments. The lead receptionist left and recommended me for a higher position, which was denied because a doctor made up lies about my professionalism. I never worked with this doctor or communicated with them. Management then had the audacity to ask me if I would be okay with having my co-worker promoted to lead. My co-worker was consistently late, did not finish tasks, and would come in high off pain medication due to health issues. I gave my 2 weeks notice the day after management suggested this change.

Additionally, we understand the challenging demands in the veterinary profession at this time and are committed to developing and maintaining a culture of wellbeing in our hospital. We are actively recruiting and hiring for new team members to bring some lift to our amazing teams. Communication is a pillar to a successful work environment, and we will always strive to continue to improve and maintain excellent communication with all caregivers within the organization. Both organization and communication are key to a healthy work environment and we encourage any concerned team members to reach out to their current HR Partner, Clinical Manager or Hospital Director for further discussion.
