Pros

If you are inspired and excited by the opportunity to transform and support life sciences, Medable is the place to be. I have never been in a Company where the passion is so evident. This passion is shared throughout the company, from colleagues who joined Medable from the very start to colleagues who recently joined. We all have the same goal; to improve the speed and quality of treatments brought to market. The company strives to empower all employees. So, if you are motivated by: Being trusted to make decisions, increase and expand your expertise, seek new challenges and refuse to be stagnant, welcome change and adapt quickly and finally treating others with respect and value your team members’ contributions, then Medable is the place to be.

Cons

Medable is considered the leading provider of mobile technology solutions in the healthcare and life sciences space, which results from the dedication and hard work of the Medable team. The company has been growing significantly over the past year to support our clients. Some employees do not feel comfortable being in a fast-growing company.

Pros

- You can make a big impact right away from day one, particularly because there is a significant need within the company and the fast-growing industry. - There are a lot of passionate employees who are willing to go the extra mile and help each other, as well as customers, out - You learn a lot and grow quickly

Cons

- Benefits are not great (two weeks vacation, no 401K match, no defined raise cycle nor bonus structure) - For the number of hours and output expected, compensation is bad (with better work-life balance, I would consider if to be good compensation) - Work-life balance is miserable; the job consumes you and allows for nearly no personal time or separation - Products have significant issues that need to be addressed; configurability is limited based on industry standards as well - Inexperienced/inadequate middle and upper management - Minimal appreciation for work/effort - Nearly impossible customer commitments and timelines that are frequently missed - Retention is low and several strong employees left during my tenure - Employee morale/happiness is low as well, and I didn't feel like that was a priority for leadership
