Things move fast, which can be both exciting and occasionally chaotic. Typical start-up growing pains when a company is growing this fast!

Pros

Medallion is full of amazing people who genuinely care about collaborating and supporting one another. The culture is strong, and even though it’s a fast-paced startup, there’s a real sense of teamwork. I’ve grown a ton here because of the opportunities and exposure that come with scaling quickly. The company also offers a generous 12-week fully paid maternity leave policy for all employees, regardless of tenure - something I really value.

Cons

Like any startup, Medallion experiences some growing pains. Some leaders are still fairly new and could benefit from additional training around communication and scaling a team effectively.

- opportunities to grow and further your career by taking whatever you can handle - company generally holds a high bar for performance and acts quickly where there are performance or fit issues - lots of very bright people - important mission - strong investors - solid business fundamentals & opportunities - CEO is focused on fundamentals and execution, not fame and fluff

Cons

- the fast pace is not for everyone - to be happy here you need to have tolerance for shifting priorities, ability to roll with the punches - it's on you to be firm about your boundaries, lest you get sucked into the slack-at-all-hours vortex
