      Pros

      I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with Medasource. The training in Indianapolis is second to none. Everyone in the organization, regardless of title, is always willing to lend a helping hand and they prepare you with all the tools you need for the role before moving back to your home market. Not only do you get to deep dive into all aspects of the organization, you get to build relationships with individuals across the company, this creates a very tight knit culture where you feel like you are a part of the company and not just another number. Upon moving back to my home market I was met with open arms and hit the ground running. What I thought was special was the continued support once you leave headquarters. The coaching and training does not stop after you finish training, leadership continues to invest in your success and makes sure you have all the tools necessary to be successful. Sales can be a tough industry but with the culture along with the layers of support from the bottom to top of the organization this truly is a special and unique place to work.

      Cons

      I have not had a bad experience with the company. A training program in Indianapolis can be daunting, but I will say what you put into it is what you will get out. I made some great friends while I was there and feel like I engrained myself in the organization. Nobody will let you fail and as long as you put in the effort, success will come your way.

      Pros

      Prefacing that I have 6 years of tenure at Medasource, and looking back, it is easily the best professional decision I've made when choosing employment. At Medasource, you are given all the tools to succeed and are surrounded by professional and extremely sharp, young minds that are genuinely invested in you and succeeding together. There is no smoke and mirrors in what you can make, the commission is truly uncapped and the sky is the limit. As a developing professional, I am continuously pushed outside of my comfort zone with the clients I'm in front of and the creative services we pitch to healthcare executives and leaders. Being in these situations daily has truly allowed me to develop as a professional and as a person. Leadership of Medasource will go out of their way to be available to you and provide the resources you need in your sales cycle to put the best solution in front of the customer. Safe to say, I don't see myself at any other company for the foreseeable future.

      Cons

      Sales is never easy. There will be highs but most certainly lows. Moving into the healthcare industry and selling consulting and professional services can be extremely difficult and intensive on learning the sales process and how to best execute. Building relationships is key in this industry, and relationships aren't built overnight, so if you're looking for immediate success, or a level of success in the short term, this job probably isn't for you. On the flipside, if you choose to give this job 2+ years of learning the various services lines and fostering relationships with your clients, it's virtually guaranteed that you will see success.
