Working at MNG has been such a pleasure so far for many reasons! For starters, my direct supervisor/manager is one of the most supportive and caring leaders I have ever met throughout my career so far. She is dedicated to making sure everyone on the team feels listened to, cared for, and supported even through the most difficult of circumstances. She also does a great job of helping our team to feel connected with one another which is greatly appreciated in a remote working environment. Speaking of, even though we have a physical office, no one on our team is required to work in person for even a single day out of the week. We can just casually go in if we feel like it, which is a huge plus having such flexibility in our work. Finally, in this capacity of work (recruiting) each day feels exciting because we get to work with a variety of teams under the MNG umbrella of publications, so it keeps things fun and interesting!

MNG offers amazing work/life balance, and is a "fully remote" role while still fostering a collaborative culture. It's also important to point out how exciting it is to support the newspaper industry! Amazing professionals that do a lot to inform local communities while also helping advertise for local businesses. This is the first company I've worked for that I actually feel passionate about the "mission".
