Medifast has put a lot of time and thought into the culture of the company. Building and maintaining relationships, cross-functional collaboration and ensuring our core values and success drivers are embedded into everything we do are of utmost importance. Medifast listens to what employees have to say (through periodic surveys) and takes action on the areas that need the most attention. The industry is ever-changing, which allows for interesting and challenging work. Ideas are heard and there is a lot of opportunity to try new things. Some of the best people I've ever worked with work here!!

Sometimes processes aren't as clear or consistent as they should be. Many disparate systems.

I love our Medifast community and my co-workers. I find that we are all passionate about health and wellbeing. Lots of us are remote and we find ways to get in meetings/huddles/quick texts to feel like you are still a community!

Cons

-I'm not in love with our health insurance plan! I wish it was BCBS!

Pros

I've never worked at a Company where team members are so quick to help out. Medifast has worked had to build a culture where relationships are key, and we do this through cross-functional projects and frequent (monthly) community events that are in-person or virtual, depending on the nature of the activity. It's been so wonderful to support each other professionally and personally.

Cons

Like many jobs, it's up to you to make sure you maintain work/life balance. I see most teams encourage this.
