Lowest Pay in Industry; Managers feel threatened; treated like kindergarteners
Pros
Steady (but low) paycheck, decent benefits. Good "employee giving back" program to employees who may have fallen on hard times.
Cons
Uneducated managers who are threatened by others who have more experience and education. Absolutely NO flexibility with work hours or working from home. Expectation is you come in when they tell you and you leave when they tell you, including on weekends. Low pay compared to rest of industry. Be aware of being offered a "bonus", you most likely won't get it as the formula will be written to be unachievable. Unethical regulatory / clinical study practices. In regulatory affairs department, they actually posted a behavior chart with each person's name and gold star stickers to track behavior, like kindergarten. This company would rather put up with a revolving door of new employees than get rid of their controlling, unreasonable manager.
