Pros

Great to work for a company that is growing, successful and knows its niche in the market. Benefits I appreciate are free, healthy lunch, fitness classes, free parking.

Cons

Honestly, I have nothing to complain about. Yes, there are politics, proper and process that bug me from time to time, but name a company where that isn't true. Of all jobs throughout my career, Medpace without a doubt is the best I've worked for.

Pros

Very nice gym, but is very overcrowded at times. Free lunch, but then you tend to work through your lunch. Clinical Trials and the good that can come from them is the biggest pro, but that's just the industry and not the company.

Cons

Promote people based on who they know, not what they know. Those who excel are held back as the only way to keep knowledge in positions. Upper management no longer cares as they all have well communicated and published exit strategies. Pay well below industry standards, people leaving are taking 10%+ increases.

Pros

They pay you. There is a gym. They feed you a salad every day from a lunchroom that is not inspected by the health department.

Cons

Management does not support you, does not follow their own SOPs. Training is: sign-off, you-figure-it-out, don't ask questions. Cliques abound, and there is adversarial hording of power and information at all levels. People and even departments get caught between management feuds. And they think a free lunch makes up for all of this. Surprise -- the budget for that salad bar day after day is $2 per person PER WEEK. Can you guess how great that is? It really helps management most because it keeps the worker bees in the office and more productive.
