Pros

- Good introduction to Clinical Trials, a lot of opportunities to learn about the industry and the different functional areas - Good TFL/ADaM training (for those that already have some SAS experience) - Work from home days (8 per month, which pretty much allows one to work 3 days in the office, 2 days at home, the perfect balance in my opinion) - Promotions and bonus based on merit and commitment to work (at least in the stat analyst career path) - Great people to work with

Cons

- Stats department being mainly located in Ohio, time difference with the UK is 5hr and it means potentially longer hours in the evening, and meetings outside normal working hours (9-5) - Overtime, while expected around deadlines, is not compensated nor rewarded - As many senior people have been leaving during the covid pandemic, there has been more pressure and an increase in workload for the current senior and mid-level employees - Salary doesn’t quite match the cost of living in London, and is not competitive with other CROs

We are happy to hear about your positive experience with Medpace. We are thrilled you are enjoying the training and learning extensively about clinical trials. We are also proud of our hybrid work from home model, the promotional & bonus opportunities, and our wonderful associates within the organization! We work hard to ensure we are a place that attracts employees not just for the short term, but provides an environment where our associates can grow in their career. We make it a priority to treat and reward our employees for the work and talent they bring to Medpace. We review our compensation and benefits regularly to ensure we are competitive within the industry and geographically. We encourage you to bring any specific concerns to the attention of your supervisor or HR representative. We appreciate your feedback and suggestions!
