Good for starting out in IT, not so much in moving up

Pros

A nice remote job with decent benefits. You can adjust your hours to fit your needs and everyone is pretty nice to work with.

Cons

Working on the serivce desk team felt a bit isolating from the rest of the company. We were always so busy that if there was a company wide meeting anybody working on the IT team wasn't there. And sometimes the phone system would throw you into a call pool for a client you weren't really trained on.

Pros

Company was great, started out at ChartLogic, but the company was bought out by Medsphere. Small team, great communication, at least up until Covid.

Cons

I've heard negative things from current and former employees regarding the state of the company. They called me one day, after almost a decade of work, and was let go with severance. My guess was it was a cost cutting measure, but I put in a ton of hours on salary that I'll never get back.

Full remote positions. no office time.

Cons

The company's management has been dishonest with their employees and clients. The clients are understandably upset with the company's direction. I was promised a raise and an advancement opportunity that never materialized. The company does not prioritize the well-being of their employees or clients.
