Pros

It's a paycheck. That's about all Meijer's has to offer. The company is horrible to work for. They do not appreciate their good and loyal workers. They pay nothing, therefore the turnover is huge. It's a job until you get a better one. I wouldn't recommend anyone working there.

Cons

The hours are horrible. The management is uneducated and lazy. Extremely unprofessional and unethical behavior in all department. You are just a number at Meijer's. The company could care less about their employees and how badly they are treated.

Pros

Good employee discount and variety of products.

Cons

Pharmacy is extremely unorganized, understaffed, some of the techs are under trained, rude coworkers not only to customers, but to fellow coworkers.

Pros

It's a job. Meijer is the place to send your teenager to work to ensure they go to college.

Cons

Gee where do I start? You mean absolutely nothing to this company. Extremely high turnover of good employees. Abusive managers who bark out orders like you're a child. Three different managers giving ten different assignments.that you're supposed to complete in a four hour shift because that's all you're scheduled to get. You get to work 24 hours a week but are scheduled six days a week to get those hours. Oh, and be grateful for those hours. Expect to work holidays and weekends. Time and a half pay on holidays ONLY if you are a full time employee- so all of the holidays are conveniently void of full time employees. The pay is minimum wage. There are very few full time positions. They expect you to care about the company, yet couldn't care less about you. They have a strange points system that makes no sense, is arbitrary, and they will throw points on your record for infractions you didn't even do. Most times you aren't even told when you get points or why. Scheduling is a joke. You get your schedule the Friday before the new week starts. So you get a 1 day notice to find out you work on Sunday. Don't expect to be able to work another part time job - they won't work with you for a consistent schedule. This place is the worst of the worst.
