Pros
It is an easy way to make friends and get to know regulars from your community, Provides minimum wage pay for a retail job though you do get raises on a regular basis so if you are there long enough you could earn a decent amount. Simple and easy to learn the ropes.
Cons
Meijer likes to try and make you think that they care about what their team members want but like any corporation the only changes they make are what they think will make them the most money and they arent always in the best interest of team members. Management is hit or miss, Ive had some great managers in my time here but ive also had some that are rude and insensitive despite how hard I worked.
