Forced to stay after shift ends; I was often held over two-three hours after my scheduled shift. When this happens all the time, it’s obvious that not enough people are scheduled. Management keeps telling the female employees to tuck their shirts in more even when they already are—seriously, who does this? It’s a grocery store, not a professional environment, not to mention how uncomfortable it is for the women. Not allowed to have a water bottle with you if you’re a cashier; please, we’re adults. Treat us like we are. The union takes money out of our paychecks every week but still has allowed Meijer to treat its employees poorly.

Management not doing their job. Upper management expecting so much with little funding. No pat on the back for employees when they go above and beyond the call of duty.
