Pros

They give a gracious amount of PTO that rolls over and accumulates. Sick time accumulates to a high amount as well. Some remote positions have high autonomy. They provide all equipment to remote colleagues.

Cons

They have a strict compensation plan - will not approve for any raise unless you are promoted to a higher paying role. You must use your own PTO for the first 8 hours when you call in sick, even with a Doctor's note.

Pros

Good for starting out and gaining experience.

Cons

Not long term growth, insufficient leadership, poor management, again great for starting out, but don’t plan on the long term.

Pros

The benefits are decent but not as good as the state or SIU. I love my colleagues and being a role model for them.

Cons

Advancement is close to impossible. Policies need updated to better fit the colleagues and not the organizations pocket book. What I mean is if you are sick, you have to use 8 PTO hours first and then you get to use your sick hours. That’s ridiculous. They don’t pay sick time when you leave so that’s why I think this policy was implemented so they can save money and don’t have to pay out much when people resign. It’s your time, you’ve earned, but don’t get it. Turnover is high throughout the organization for several reasons but the main reason is management and policies that need updated. I constantly get yelled and screamed at by patients and the only time management does anything is if you fill out a report and it goes up the chain. Even then it’s minimal. There are several other cons. Like I said it’s ok for starting out and gaining experience, but not a place to make a career out of.
