      Not bad but not sure I would pick to work here again…..

      Pros

      I love my coworkers and my managers. I love the variety of areas/specialties you can work in MHHS.

      Cons

      The main reason I’m writing this is to address the poor insurance that MH provides to employees. I recently switched from Humana to MH Aetna and I have experienced more problems than ever getting the medications I need. I go to the pharmacy and am constantly met with insurance issues covering basic medications. I was told prior to working here that the insurance wasn’t great but didn’t know the extent of it. Another thing is you generally aren’t covered seeing providers outside of the MH network. I had a great Dr at Methodist who I can no longer see. That in combination with the non competitive pay (huge bummer) makes me think I maybe wouldn’t choose this hospital again.

      In my particular department, I have understanding leaders who are supportive and always acknowledge our efforts.

      Cons

      It would be nice to have more opportunities for CEUs.

      Supportive manager, great team, option to work in the community setting

      Cons

      Pay is not as competitive compared to other major health systems. Difficult to move into other areas from Med/Surg
