      Old fashioned management approach, benefits stink

      Pros

      convenient to home, nice prestige to work here over the other large hospital system in Houston; coworkers were very passionate about their job

      Cons

      The management, specifically the CHRO (Chief HR officers) in the group. Bunch of evil women who love to backstab each other and get drunk in "staff" meetings. Horrible place to grow your HR career - you might as well be an HR person for a cleaning company. The CEO was aloof and was rarely pleasant to anyone who didn't work on the 27th floor - he still called us "personnel."
