      A lot of work to do

      Flexible management, busy trauma center, a lot of working parts, many people to be approved by before actually getting to work

      Cons

      Too many purposeful roadblocks, i.e. Too many politics, staff does not challenge themselves to know more outside of hospital expectations, no end goals

      It's a nice place to work. Everyone is friendly and helpful. There is room for growth.

      Cons

      Benefits are not the greatest and pay seems to be lower than most other facilities. Moral is no good at the a lot of the facilities

      Pros

      Some great nurses work here, and I see lots of teamwork on the floor. Compensation is fair.

      Cons

      New CEO has cut budgets by 20% across the board and of course this takes the form of reduction in staff, float pay, and supply resources for nursing. This used to be a good place to work, but now there's not much to recommend it over any other hospital in Houston. Probably a pretty cushy place to work if you're in administration, but avoid it if you are front-line staff. This review is for the TMC location.
