      Pros

      Great people, welcoming environment. We have an awesome executive director and managers that guide us which helps keep me motivated and excited about work. I also love that it is a remote work environment, but we have some in-person team events which is a nice combination!

      Cons

      healthcare/insurance premiums are only cheap if you live in OC or Long Beach. Wish there was a more diverse executive board/leadership

      Great place to start in the new graduate program

      Pros

      Nurses are mostly nice and willing to bring up new nurses. You get trained, meet your minimum requirements and take classes. I feel supported at work and know who to go to should I need help. I believe the new grad program is 6 weeks long. Not a whole lot of time but enough…(ask for extension if you feel like you need it). The place I feel is adequately staffed And have enough supplies. When I was doing clinical I found out quickly that this is not the truth in a lot of places.

      Cons

      No signing bonus… but keep in mind that if the company os paying a signing bonus that generally means they feel pressured to bribe their employees to stay or commit to the job longer term. Signing bonus means unhappy employees that leave quickly.

      Pros

      I enjoy being part of a fun and hard-working team. I feel strongly supported by my executive director. Our department has experienced amazing inter-department collaboration, and I have seen senior leadership make wise financial decisions. I am very pleased with my decision to join MemorialCare.

      Cons

      I really don't have any complaints. I am thankful for this employer.
