We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. At memoryBlue, we know that our people are our greatest asset. While our base pay is in line with the U.S. industry average (and may not always be at the very top end of the range), a key part of our compensation philosophy is the significant investment we make in training, coaching, and developing our team. From day one, we commit resources to help our Sales Development Representatives grow into the next generation of sales leaders — whether that’s through intensive onboarding, ongoing skills workshops, one-on-one coaching, or exposure to a wide variety of client industries. Most of the talent joining the organisation are selected for their attribute, but do not have prior experience in sales. We pride ourselves in developing their skills and their scope of competency. Many of our alumni have gone on to thrive in senior sales roles at leading companies, and we take pride in being a launchpad for those careers. We also understand quotas can be challenging, as sales roles often are, but we believe in setting ambitious goals to help our team reach their full potential — and we provide the tools, mentorship, and environment to support them along the way. Thank you again for your candid review. Your input helps us continue to improve and deliver on our mission to develop exceptional sales talent.

Pros

I started out with $42,500/yr, but after a few months, they gave me a base bump and I received senior status which gives you another 5k

Cons

The starting pay was a little low.

Thanks for sharing your experience! We’re glad to hear you progressed quickly and earned both a base increase and senior status. It’s important to us to make sure hard work is recognised and rewarded! We hear your comments around the starting salary; as you say, you don’t have to stay there for long! A key part of our compensation philosophy is the significant investment we make in training, coaching, and developing our team. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts.

Pros

Great culture, with young fresh out of college professionals Great place to develop as an SDR, quota of 10 books with the prospect attending the meeting.

Cons

Base 42,500k and with commission. for hitting quota you get $1500. they give you the 500 but the other $100 goes into a "bank" system where you have to wait 15 months to get the money

Thanks for highlighting the culture and development opportunities, it’s great to hear you’ve found memoryBlue to be a strong place to grow as an SDR. Thank you too for your feedback on the bank system, it’s something we’re really interested in understanding how it lands with the team and something for us to look at as we continually find ways to make memoryBlue the best it can be. The structure is designed to reward consistency and long term success but we're keen to consider how best to balance immediate rewards with sustained growth. Thanks for your feedback.
