I might die here (as in work here forever)
Pros
Great training, awesome people, young and energetic culture, TONS of fun paid and subsidized events, wonderful benefits, pretty good compensation plans, very good office. I moved here with 0 friends and now have ~100 people I'd invite to my wedding. Pretty good diversity too for a tech org. Excellent professional development, leadership, exposure, and promotion potential/opportunity. Way more stable than a VC-backed SaaS startup with all the educational upside.
Cons
Anyone who 1-starred memoryBlue is 100% capping. Does the org have its flaws? Yes. who doesn't? I started as an SDR as a college grad and veteran who was dumpster diving and shoplifting to help feed myself as my slightly-above-minimum-wage jobs weren't cutting it. I knew nothing of tech sales the day before their recruiter hit me up and had the highest base pay I'd ever had a week later at age 25. I made plenty of bonuses, upgraded my apartment, made 2x what both my parents made, made tons of friends, and went to Cancun 5 times thus far, and went to several conferences for professional development. Transparently: Marc and Chris are amazing Managers can be young and less experienced, but they generally earned it, and wouldn't you want the opportunity to be promoted if you overperform without having to wait for an arbitrary "wait date"? Culture is vape and alcohol-heavy, but tons of non partyers have fun with bowling, trivia, intramural sports, and random holiday activities The overtime lawsuit has been figured out, settlements paid, and now there is no "bonus pool", only bonuses for hitting and exceeding quota The benefits are great, I have all the health basics + 401k and pet insurance "A lot of cold calling?" Really? This is a sales job.
