Pros

-A lot of great people, and the opportunity to get placed on a good client. I was lucky enough to be put on a great client who, when they decided to cancel their contract, wanted to bring a few reps over. Most are not so lucky - Decent training, but most sales orgs will be able give you very similar training

Cons

In my time there, I saw the culture shift from a fun, encouraging culture to a more strict, regimented culture with little room for missing a beat, and from what I'm hearing it is only getting worse. It sounds like if you have a bad couple of weeks now you will be put on a performance improvement plan which may or may not be attainable. For example, a couple of those I heard about were basically "hit your full quota for the month of December or you're fired" which is tough with basically losing an entire week and a half of the month for holidays. You will also not be paid what another organization will pay you. If you apply for the same role directly at companies instead of going through memoryBlue as a contract employee, you will eventually find yourself in a better situation than the year-long trap you'll find yourself in there. Take the time and energy to find yourself the same role elsewhere. Also, the bonus/commission structure is horrible. Only get a bonus for hitting quota, but nothing more once you exceed quota and the bonus amount isn't enough to feel remotely rewarding. Which is tough on top of already lower than average base pay for the position.

Pros

The training they provide is very extensive so you will be a master at cold calling within your first 6-9 months of working with the company and you'll work a variety of different tech campaigns in different industries; this diversifies your skill set and increases your value when furthering your career. If you stay with the company for 15 months there will be a huge bonus from each month that you hit quota and the company will push your highlights and metrics out to every client they work with to get you hired out and working directly with one of those clients with higher pay. The owners rock! You will literally see them on the sales floor all the time and they are very approachable; they will literally interact with anyone. I've had great conversations and laughs with both owners even with me only being an SDR in the company.

Cons

You feel burned out by month 7 and there is a lot of metric-focused management. A lot of times it seemed like the managers cared more about getting to 100 dials than the number and quality of actual meetings you would book. If you hit your 100 dials a day they won't bother you, but the 100 dial metric is a bit extreme considering the number of meetings and trainings we have throughout the day.
