Pros

Overpaid salaries. I’m not sure if that’s a pro or a con.

Cons

This company does not care about any employee that isn’t in the electric department. They cater to them and no one else. A couple of years ago they gave the electric employees a 10% raise because they worked in an ice storm. Water and gas employees worked just as much as they did (water probably worked the most). MLGW did not give this raise to anyone except electric, mechanics, and warehouse employees. They voted against giving it to them just recently. They also gave bonuses to the linemen and no one else. To be a union based company this company is never trying to keep anything fair and they are constantly under scrutiny for it. If the big leaders aren’t lining their pockets then they aren’t at work. I can’t wait for the day this company comes under investigation. Bunch of snakes leading this company.
