      Pros

      You learn about what it means to have great customer service, and I've used this experience in my new job.

      Cons

      Lot's of hours, which could be both good and bad. Money is good, but if you want to have a social life...

      Pros

      Menards really does have a team workplace environment. People are willing to help each other out in many ways, from developing professional skills to helping in Guest service to taking someone else's shift if they need help.

      Cons

      A lot of the employees have no idea how to use computers and are incredibly inefficient in using them. Also, the company has a big turnover rate where I worked because of the lack of quality hiring of employees.

      They work with most any schedule. Great place to work if you're a college student.

      Cons

      They say they promote from within but that's not always true. There's a lot of heavy lifting involved so you have to be pretty strong.
