Working on the hard concrete floor found in the stores for long hours causes a lot of body pain.

Pros

work leaves day open since job takes place early in the morning. Days are short and good for morning people.

Cons

over working common, not respected by higher ups, advancement seems unlikely. Job makes you feel stressed and over time you feel more and more that you hate your job.

Pros

Much better than factory work. Get as many hours as you like, probably more than you would like. Bonuses can get very large if you stick around a few years.

Cons

Takes years to get to a corporate level within Menard. The company does not do their homework on candidates before inviting them to an interview. If you don't like enjoy working a lot of hours, do not apply to Menard.
