Pros

Much better than factory work. Get as many hours as you like, probably more than you would like. Bonuses can get very large if you stick around a few years.

Cons

Takes years to get to a corporate level within Menard. The company does not do their homework on candidates before inviting them to an interview. If you don't like enjoy working a lot of hours, do not apply to Menard.

Pros

good total year income, meet some good people along the way.

Cons

have to work too much to make a decent living, you have the workload of 2-3 people, 35-40% of your yearly income comes from bonuses of some sort which means weekly/monthly wages are dismal. paid by the hour to force you to work more. very negative atmosphere and culture, you are always wrong and have to continually prove why you are right..and even if your right your still wrong. always trying to find a way to make you look like an idiot instead of helping you grow as a professional and and build your categories.
