Pros

Enjoyable work. You will never be bored. Must people are enjoyable. The company is financailly very stable. Don't have to worry about it going under.

Cons

OK pay. What you make in a year is really dependent on how much overtime you work. Health insurance is expensive. No company retirement plan. They try to spin the profit sharing as your "retirement plan" however that money barely brings your yearly total to the bottom side of what other employers offer with base pay. Training, for associate buyers, is basically "here's the basics of these three programs. Figure everything else out. Don't mess up. But if you do, I will tell you you're wrong but not tell you why or how to fix it."

Pros

Experience at retail locations may be different, my experience is from a distribution center. Worked here for 2.5 years in multiple departments, both 1st and 2nd shift. No amount of money would persuade me to go back. I wish I were exaggerating. I have to bachelor degrees and a masters and the only positive from this job is that I am now confident in my babysitting abilities.

Cons

Poor benefits, OSHA violations everywhere, complacentcy in every aspect, poor management, bullying, unprofessional, inappropriate relationships between management and team members, forced overtime, no work/life balance, outdated equipment, horrible work conditions, hostile environment, limited room for advancement and generally no concern for employees as human beings.

Pros

Overtime available, 3 dollar extra on weekends, dental insurance.

Cons

Work past shift has ended doing returns that can take 1 hour or more. Unable to go to the bathroom until break no matter what, unable to leave in case of seizures unless replacement found, no refrigerator in break room, I was amazed especially regarding not being unable to leave even if grandmal seizure. I had several minor seizures and told supervisor that if they got worse I might need to leave. Quit after learning of policy.
