Pros

Team Building, Always something to do, Problem Solving, Guest Relations, and Always on your feet.

Cons

Can be frustrating helping out guests who are difficult. Management is what makes or breaks moral in the store. Long hours especially when coworkers are no shows. Not enough pay in my opinion to live off of, needs a wage increase.

Pros

Occasionally have time to ones self

Cons

Overseers inside store tend to be demeaning. Anything you can do within rules to make life more bearable is immediately made against rules. Poor heating in winter (have to buy own uniform, didn't send me coat until december) no air conditioning in very hot summer other than a box fan to push heat around. And heaven forbid you want to make friends with the people you work with at menards that actuallu are nice to you. They feel the need to dictate your life outside of work too.
