Pros

Talented people and diverse opportunities. All of the resources of a global firm. Multiple lines of business provide stability and growth.

Cons

Large company comes with decisions made on high. Limited local control. Defined benefit retirement business is shrinking and impacting firm results.

Pros

The people are great fun and very outgoing. You will get client contact relatively early on. Support for time off when needed and flexible working.

Cons

The atmosphere is a bit grim at the moment. Declining revenue from DB clients, and no realistic alternative revenue streams suggested. Difficult to see where revenue will come in from DC clients. This is reflected in endless initiatives and communications from senior management, centred around process efficiency and cutting costs.
