Pros

Working for Mercer was a good experience overall. I stayed to myself and received payment on time most of the time.

Cons

There could be better staffing cohesion, but overall it was not a bad experience. I would say that the payment systems could be better.

Pros

As an admissions counselor you get to travel and talk about the school. You also learn skills such as sales, budget, etc. Had a good time doing this but it is not something to do forever. You also get a lot of freedom in the office.

Cons

Lack of upward mobility Low pay work weekends dealing with 16-18 year old prospective students can get annoying lack of professional development
