      nice and comfortable, if no merger, I'll still work with this company. This company is very nice to her employee.

      Pros

      Great products, good pipeline. There is a real emphasis on the technical aspects of the product line and honest attempts at selling beyond price.

      Cons

      Archaic processes and too much of an emphasis on traditional modes of selling and marketing. Oftentimes too much time is spent on irrelevant details instead of looking at the big picture.

      Pros

      The work you are doing has a great impact on society and lives of people world wide. Achieving success at work could mean a second chance at life for someone in the world. The team work and passion for science is promoted at Merck. There is opportunity to work with cutting edge technology and access to the latest equipment/materials and robotics is available to run large drug screens.

      Cons

      There is less challenging work for new hires. More could be done to engage the new entrants into the organization. There should be more interaction between the departments instead of seeming solo.
