Pros

The main campus is very scenic, as it overlooks the Hudson River While cliquey at times, you will form bonds/friendships with your coworkers President Hall seems like he actually cares about the success of the school and its students

Cons

The turnover is out of control. Many employees have been there a year or less, so new people are constantly having to be trained. This seems to be true in all departments across the campuses, so only a handful of people have been there for awhile and are really aware of what is going on. You will be asked to train people in positions higher than yours. Management is not supportive of their employees, leaving them to do the majority of the work with little to no recognition. When management is approached with an issue, they will sweep it under the rug and ignore it. There is blatant favoritism shown to certain staff members. This leads to unhappy employees - many will be actively looking for a new job shortly after they are hired. The salary is not competitive at all.

Pros

Great schedule for a work life balance, great with tuition remission.

Cons

awful management, positions are created to get people out of the union, assist. and assoc. managers are to young and inexperienced for such roles, the title gets to their head, upper management has favorites and make the other staff members feel uncomfortable. non union member's get last pick of vacation days and no overtime is allowed. pay raises are non existent and more and more work is demanded. all they care about is the numbers of enrollment and not the quality of the students being admitted. to much catty nonsense.
