Pros

Faculty staff members are very knowledgeable, good environment for people interested in business. Pretty good networking opportunities for the students.

Cons

Not a fast pace environment, not enough challenges. I am not sure there are many opportunities to develop professionally and grow inside this organization. Location is not good for people who live in Nee York city, most of employees are on Dobbs Ferry campus

Pros

Salary & benefits are decent, but this is NOT typical of Mercy College.

Cons

Most faculty in the department phone it in, if they show at all. Many aren't qualified to teach, and the students and other faculty know it too. If you say anything though, be prepared to be blacklisted. Department is run by a bunch of old, self-important blowhards. Know very little about successfully running an educational department, seem most adept at patting themselves on the back for their 'successes' which consist of them talking about how successful they are. At what, I've yet to figure out.
